This was a sleeper hit, with a captivating story and lush visuals.
Being able to adjust the time of day in the photo mode was a welcome feature, and the machines reveal a lot of detail in close up shots. Adjusting Aloy’s pose and expression was a new feature for me as well — a great way to compose really unique images unrestricted by (or emphasizing) the tone dictated by the game’s narrative.
